Green Calgary Initiative

Earthmaster was recently involved in a prodigious community project by donating environmental consulting time and services to 2000 Days Pre-Kindergarten located in close proximity to our Calgary head office. In keeping with Green Calgary and Depave your community this project was designed to remove pavement from the outdoor play area and create a wonderful green space. The results are a much improved environment simply by replacing a hard impermeable surface with sod and plants allowing restoration of the natural water cycle within the inner city. This new green environment has created a wonderful play and learning area for the children as well as adding a verdant space within the community.

With the help of Green Calgary, many volunteers and project sponsors, 2000 Days Pre-Kindergarten was able to keep Calgary Green.
