Now Conducting In-Situ Permeability Testing
Earthmaster utilizes a Guelph Permeameter for in-situ measurement of saturated soil hydraulic conductivities to ensure regulatory compliance during soil treatment pad construction and for site specific risk assessment programs. The Guelph Permeameter provides accurate evaluation of soil hydraulic conductivity, soil sorptivity and matrix flux potential in all types of soils. The method involves measuring the steady-state rate of water recharge into unsaturated soil from a 2” cylindrical hole, in which a constant head of water is maintained. Depending on the soil type, tests can take between ½ and 2 hours using only 2.5 liters of water.
